With winter time being here it seem like everyone is gearing up to use their hot tubs and spas. One of the most common things I have been hearing about is people are finding small silver metal objects that look like BB's in the bottom of their spas and hot tubs.
Many of the older rotating spa jets have bearings in them, when the jets start to deteriorate the bearings go out and you will start to find those small metal objects in the bottom of your spa. It is a sure sign that you have a jet that needs to be replaced. Improper ph, alkalinity, chlorine levels, and age can cause deterioration to the spa jets.
